Light a Candle
Bruce S. Muh, 84, of Alpine, Tennessee passed away on February 4th, 2026.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, Bruce grew up in Leonardo, NJ where he met his wife Kathleen, and was a longtime resident of the River Plaza section of Middletown, NJ prior to moving to Tennessee.
Bruce worked a long career as a core driller and was a member of the Carpenters Local Union 1536 (NY), and later worked at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ. He enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years, and also loved boating and watching football and baseball, and was an avid fan of the Giants and Mets.
He felt that giving back to the community was an important civic duty, thus served as a member of the Bolestown Volunteer Fire Department, and he and his wife Kathleen volunteered as election workers at their local polling place.
Bruce is survived by his wife Kathleen, son Bruce (Susan) Muh, daughter Tamarie (Art) Hoffer, and brother Charles D. Muh. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brittany, Jessica, and Alexis, and great grandchildren Gunner, Olivia, and Emma.
Bruce was a member of the Bolestown Baptist Church in Alpine, TN, and will be missed by his family and friends.
